Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

As we look back upon the lows of 2021 – the supply chain disruptions and labor shortages, the virus with no end in sight, a very wet July and August – we choose to focus on the highlights – a successful harvest window, a dry March, May, and June to get crops into the ground, and the re-opening of businesses after a long winter of COVID-19.

All of us at CaroVail are Thankful for the business and support of all of our growers. As our mission statement says, “our mission is to recommend and implement the best products and practices to improve the long term sustainability of your farm and business.” For over 40 years, our success has directly been linked to the success of our farmers and we are always keeping that in mind.

Moving forward into the New Year, we begin to prepare for the 2022 growing season. This past week, we were fortunate to get together for our Annual Meeting and welcomed Dr. Scott Downey from Perdue to present. His take home message – plan ahead. As we enter 2022, remember that. Have a plan on what you will need and when you think you will need it. Have those conversations with your trusted advisor to make sure you are prepared for the challenges to come in 2022.
